Programs by Guided Pathway
Programs, majors, degrees are organized within the Guided Pathways to help students explore their options.
Guided Pathways is a GCSC endeavor to provide students with an academic plan that guides students along a path to reach their academic and career goals. By grouping fields of study by similarities, students can explore options within their interests, experience the best preparation for the six Pathways are identified as the following:
Pathway Navigators provide initial academic advising and assist students in finding their way around GCSC. The Pathway Navigator is assigned to the broader Pathway and is knowledgeable about the general "area".
Faculty Advisors work with students to provide more in-depth guidance about the students' chosen program of study. Faculty Advisors are knowledgeable about the specific major or program of study, and work with students to enhance their university transfer of professional opportunities upon program completion.
